Windrush Lake is ideal for taking out paddleboard, canoes or kayaks. Bring your own to enjoy getting out on the water. There are a number of other lakes nearby where canoeing, kayaking and many other watersports can be enjoyed. Watersports equipment hire can be organised to be delivered to the door, just let us know and we can provide you with recommendations.
Bike hire is also available locally or from the Gateway Centre just over the road, perfect for exploring the surrounding area via the local well marked cycle trails.
Excellent on-site fishing is available exclusively to guests.
Fishing on Isis & Windrush
The two Isis lakes are well stocked and managed, offering both excellent carp, trout and fly fishing. Windrush Lake is an excellent lake for coarse fishing with a good head of carp, pike and more.
There are a number of well-built fishing platform areas which make access for fishing in the lakes very easy.
